BORN: March 23, 2004
Emmanuel was born in an internal displacement camp) where his family was living to seek refuge from Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army. His father died of an unknown cause when he was 3 years old. His mother is still living, but is very sick and unable to take care of Emmanuel.
Emmanuel is a shy boy, but a very good friend and protective of the younger children in the village. He is always smiling and loves to run and play with all the children at the village. He enjoys soccer, playing touch (tag) and eating mangos! Emmanuel is slightly behind in school due to his time on the streets but hopes to attend driving school to become a professional driving.
