Isaac’s STORY:

Isaac’s father was a soldier in the Ugandan army who died when Isaac was just two years old. Isaac and his siblings were left with their mother who struggled to provide for them. She grew hardened by the struggles in her life and began to physically abuse Isaac and his siblings. When he could no longer bear the beating from his mother, Isaac fled to the streets for an escape.

After living on the streets for only two weeks, Isaac came to Uncle Fred’s house for a weekend feeding for street children. There he was given food, clothes and the opportunity to bathe and receive medical attention. That day Isaac was taken to the children’s village to begin their new life as a part of Saving Grace. Isaac is a caring boy who loves to greet others at the village. He enjoys solving puzzles and swinging. He dreams to become the president of Uganda one day.
