jasper's STORY:

Jasper spent 5 years living on the streets after his mother was killed by Joseph Kony's LRA rebels and his father died of AIDS. Street life was extraordinarily difficult for Jasper because he endured extreme abuse, as well as malaria, whooping cough, flu and other infections.

Jasper has been with Saving Grace since 2008 and is thriving in this uplifting environment. He excels in school and loves to play soccer and volleyball. Jasper loves music and is constantly sharing that love with everyone in the village by often carrying around the boom box. He loves playing cards and takes it as his personal mission to win as many times as he possibly can against everyone at the children's village. Jasper attends secondary school in Kampala and loves technology, math and science. In the future Jasper hopes to become a computer programmer and work on designing websites.
