Ronald's STORY:

Ronald was orphaned when his parents died of AIDS when he was only a few years old. He moved in with his uncle but there he was mistreated and severely abused. He finally escaped, only to spend 4 very hard years on the streets. He suffered from a respiratory tract infection and chronic malaria. Eventually Saving Grace was able to rescue him and give him a new life. Ronald has gone through intensive counseling to help him deal with the psychological trauma due to his past. By the grace of God his mind and body have since been mostly healed.

Ronald seems very serious when you first meet him but he is one of the first to crack jokes and make people laugh at the children's village. He enjoys farming and playing soccer and is quick to help the younger boys when they need help with anything. Ronald is an awesome example for the younger boys- he is always sharing his possessions and never hesitates to help anyone at the Children’s Village. His favorite subject is math and plans to one day become an engineer.
