After her parents died of AIDS when she was very young, Sarah went to live with her aunt, who also fell ill and died soon after taking Sarah in. After the death of her grandmother she moved to the streets of Lira where she was sexually abused by older street boys. Sarah lived on the streets for seven years before becoming the first girl ever taken in by Saving Grace in Uganda.
Sarah is a quiet leader of the children at the village. She has played an instrumental part in bringing in new girls from the streets because of her relationships with children still living there. Sarah is someone everyone wants to be friends with. She is funny, friendly and kind and can be found playing with everyone at the children's village. She has a beautiful singing voice and loves leading worship, cleaning, acting, and studying. Her favorite subject is English and she dreams of becoming a lawyer.
