Favorite thing about SGU: That they are taking him to school, teaching him about God and how to be a good leader in the future, and also teaching him about farming.

yuventino's STORY:

After witnessing the brutal murder of his father at the hands of LRA rebels, Yuventino made his way to an internal displacement camp in Northern Uganda seeking refuge from the way. Due to overpopulation and lack of food, he left the camp and began living on the streets. There he was beaten, abused and tortured by older street boys.

Yuventino was taken in by Uncle Fred to Saving Grace when it began. He is an incredibly intelligent young man and Saving Grace now supports him attending university. He is extroverted and enjoys soccer, music and dance. Yuventino is such a example of maturity at SGU. He is a fast learner and is so curious about the world. He is always asking insightful questions of everyone he meets. Yuventino is currently studying to become a teacher and plans to come back to Lira to teach at Saving Grace Primary School.
