george's STORY:

George was only 4 years old when his parents divorced. Soon after this his father died and his mother abandoned George, leaving him in the care of his grandmother who was unable to provide for him. George turned to the streets in search of food, shelter and survival. George endured life on the streets for two years before Uncle Fred found him and was able to take him to live at the SGU children’s village.

Today George is an active little boy who is constantly moving around the village laughing and playing tag games with his friends. you can find him playing soccer for hours on end, drawing and eating his favorite food- mangos.  George works very hard in school and enjoys English, math and science. He hopes to become an engineer in the future and we are trusting God to provide for him to do so.
