samuel's STORY:

In 2012 Samuel’s parents died of AIDS. Believing his aunt would take care of him, he moved in with her but instead she physically abused him. Unable to withstand the abuse any longer, Samuel was forced to try and survive on the streets where he faced immense hardship. During his time on the streets he suffered from an upper respiratory tract infection and regular cases of malaria.

Just when his life seemed hopeless, Uncle Fred took Samuel to live at the Saving Grace Children’s Village. He has since recovered from all sickness and is a happy, playful child now at Saving Grace! He is always smiling and loves to dance, flip and play soccer. Samuel excels in mathematics and dreams of being an engineer when he grows up.
