boniface's STORY:

Boniface was born on the streets. His mother was a street kid and never knew who the father of her baby was. After giving birth to Boniface, his mother worked occasional jobs at a hotel in exchange for a small amount of milk for Boniface. Street girls helped the mother take care of Boniface but when he was three years old she abandoned him. He survived on the streets until he was five years by eating out of the garbage and sleeping in culverts under people's houses. When he was rescued by SGU, Boniface was in critical condition, suffering from malaria, bacterial infections and malnutrition.

Boniface had never understood what home meant until he was invited to have a new life by coming to live at Uncle Fred's House. With the help of Saving Grace in Uganda, he has received nutrition, medical care and lots of love. Now Boniface is a healthy and happy child. As one of youngest children at Saving Grace, the future is bright for Boniface. Boniface is hilarious and so much fun to be around. He loves playing and pretending in the village. He loves to take photos and also pretends he is taking photos when a camera isn’t available (he’ll use anything as a make-believe camera!).
