solomon's STORY:

Solomon was born in an IDP camp during the 25 year civil war involving Joseph Kony in Uganda. When he was very young, his mother found out that his father was HIV positive and abandoned their family. Soon after this, Solomon's father died. Solomon had to move to the streets to fight for his life for almost 3 years. During street life, Solomon developed asthma and became a sickle cell carrier.

Solomon was rescued from street life in 2011 and is growing stronger and stronger. He is very smart and excels in school, often at the top of his class. Solomon is a hard worker, always completing his school work and chores quickly. He is very friendly and hangs out with everyone at the village. He enjoys reading and playing cards (especially his favorite game, UNO!).
